Huskies Loss Continues Disappointing PAC-12 Bowl Season

The PAC-12 has not won a national championship in football since USC’s 2004 BCS victory (since vacated); and have only won twice in the last twenty-five years.  The West Coast’s hopes this year were on #4 Washington (the 1991 Champion), but they were dominated by #1 Alabama 24-7.

On balance it has been a disappointing bowl season for the PAC-12 teams.  Despite being favored in four of the five bowl games so far, PAC-12 teams won only two games and were outscored 126-48 .

There is still hope that #9 USC (a 7-point favorite) may provide redemption for the conference in the Rose Bowl against #5 Penn State.
